3. Equipment selection and main technical parameters

1 PLG3000-24 type disc continuous Dryer is planned to be selected according to the requirements

3.1 Working principle:

The wet material is continuously fed into the hopper of the main machine, and is continuously added to the first layer of drying tray on the upper part of the dryer through the screw feeder. The thread flows over the surface of the drying pan, the material on the small drying pan moves to the outer edge, and falls on the outer edge to the outer edge of the large drying pan below, the material on the large drying pan moves inward and falls from the middle to the bottom. In a layer of small drying trays, the large and small drying trays are arranged alternately up and down, the material can flow through the entire dryer continuously, the heating medium is passed into the hollow drying tray, the heating medium enters the other end from one end, and the dried material flows from the last one. The layer drying tray falls to the cooling bottom layer of the shell, and is finally moved by the rakes to the discharge port for discharge. Moisture evaporates and evaporates from the material and escapes, and the exhaust gas is filtered by the dust collector and then emptied.

3.2 Features of use

1) Easy to control and strong applicability

1. Adjusting the thickness of the material layer, the rotational speed of the main shaft, the number of rake arms, the type and size of the rake blades can make the drying process optimal.

2. Each layer of drying tray can be separately fed with hot medium or cold medium to heat or cool the material, and the temperature of the material can be controlled accurately and easily.

3. The residence time of the material can be adjusted precisely.

4. The material flow direction is single, no back-mixing phenomenon, uniform drying, stable quality, no need to mix.

2) Simple and easy operation

1. The operation of starting and stopping the dryer is very simple.

2. After the feeding is stopped, the rakes that convey the material can quickly empty the material in the dryer.

3. Through the special large-scale inspection door and sight glass, the inside of the equipment can be carefully cleaned and observed.

3) Low energy consumption

1. The material layer is very thin, the spindle speed is low, the power required by the material conveying system is small, and the power consumption is low.

2. Drying by conduction heat, high thermal efficiency and low energy consumption.

4) The operating environment is good, the solvent can be recycled, and the dust emission meets the requirements

1. Atmospheric pressure type: Due to the low air flow rate in the equipment and the high and low humidity distribution in the equipment, it is difficult for dust to float to the top of the equipment, so the exhaust gas discharged from the top moisture outlet contains almost no dust.

2. Sealed type: Equipped with a solvent recovery device, which can easily recover the organic solvent in the moisture-carrying gas. The solvent recovery device is simple and the recovery rate is high. For flammable, explosive, toxic and oxidizable materials, nitrogen can be used as a moisture-carrying gas for closed-circuit circulation to make it safe to operate. Especially suitable for drying flammable, explosive and toxic materials.
